Greetings Seth,

It has been years since I have used coffee as a staining source, but now the last 22 years I have been drinking tea. Why is it that we forget the simplest of things until we see someone else using the technique.

Thank you for sharing,
Egmont

These are both great! Rich, with a gritty texture, deep in color and they have wonderful patterns created. I've even spotted a heart in each one of them! Super series- so glad these are not a secret!

I like the colors. But I don't drink any coffee at all. :)

I went out today after hitting my few sources to locate your inaugural Cloth Paper Scissors...but alas I will have to keep my quest energized...I am sure it will turn up real soon!!!! I love using the tea leaves...I have not had time to do much work today because I met with the gallery curator to finalize my exhibit in May 2010. I have got to be focused now to get all the processes completed. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Love what you're doing with coffee. You've inspired me to work on the pieces I started for Secret Sunday.

Hey Seth - I must apologise for my tardiness in not visiting for a while! I've been flat tack at home here getting it ready for listing on the market. Of course, then there is the whole work, art, Jason, husband, blog juggling act on top of that....phew...I'm getting tired just writing all that.
Anyway - I just LOVE all these new textures and colours. Gorgeous work Seth. I've just spent a whack out of my paypal account on some rather cool mixed media brass findings otherwise I'd be crashing through your Etsy store RIGHT NOW> best I save up my pennys again then!

This new series is so inspiring. I must get some coffee that I would never drink and play.

I'm not a fan of coffee (I'm a tea drinker) but these pieces are certainly coffee that I love.

ooo these creations are delicious looking Seth!

I see a Java Heart in the first one!

Your blues and rusts and distressed layers are always fabulous! These two are amazing!

Pg 15 CPS, very cool indeed! So wished I could "click" on the full view of your brick by brick ;)
The Updike quote is perfect too.
Congrats once again!!!
